Action for Boston Community Development

“Embue having received this $335,000 grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, and the peak load management systems funded through the grant will advance the low-income climate equity work that Community Action Agencies like ABCD engage in on a daily basis in communities statewide. As the Lead Vendor for Eversource in the LEAN and Mass Save Income Eligible programs, ABCD is pleased that two existing partners, Eversource and Maloney Properties are included in this award. To help ensure that all people share the benefits of climate protection efforts,  ABCD’s energy program provides resources to the most vulnerable – low-income and senior residents for heating and cooling, weatherization, energy bill advocacy and conservation. Energy efficiency and carbon reduction solutions are key to supporting Boston communities facing high energy and fuel costs, as well as the impacts of climate change.”

Eversource

“Eversource is committed to expanding access to demand response programs for income-qualified and multifamily customers who often face an undue energy burden. The Mass Save® ConnectedSolutions program is one of our many initiatives aimed at helping Massachusetts residents to save energy and reduce costs, providing enrolled customers with incentives to manage and reduce their energy use during periods of peak electricity demand. Incorporating Embue’s software will help us in our efforts to reduce load on the grid and address potential capacity constraints, while bringing energy-saving solutions to more multifamily customers and increasing access to the technologies that will help define the clean energy transition in our region.”
